Terry Mitchel Letbetter

Terry Mitchel Letbetter, 62, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away in his home on Monday, May 12. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Proctor’s Mortuary, 3522 Washington Blvd., Beaumont, Texas.

A longtime resident of Vidor, Texas, Terry worked as a crane operator for most of his career, including time at BASA Refinery and, most recently, at LNG Refinery. He took pride in his work and built lasting relationships throughout his career.

He had a deep love for travel, especially enjoying cruises and the joy of vacation life. Above all, Terry valued time with his family and took great pleasure in making holidays memorable for those he loved.

Terry was preceded in death by his sister, Penny Hase Lden; his brother, Randall Letbetter; and his father, John Newton Letbetter Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gail Letbetter; his mother, Linda Kay Letbetter; and his sister, Shelly Rene Trejo. He is also survived by his three stepchildren, who held a special place in his heart; his four cherished grandchildren; and one beloved great-grandchild.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
