Colony Ridge man sought in fatal stabbing of roommate

Authorities are searching for a man accused in the fatal stabbing of his roommate Friday evening in the Colony Ridge community south of Plum Grove.

Liberty County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded around 5:30 p.m. June 20 to a report of a stabbing on CR 5007. Investigators, with assistance from the Texas Rangers, determined that a physical altercation had occurred between the victim and 52-year-old Pedro Luis Rodriguez Naranjo, who were reportedly roommates.

A search warrant was obtained and executed at the residence, where investigators recovered evidence supporting their findings, officials said.

The 60-year-old victim was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, according to LCSO Lt. John Bennett.

Authorities are in the process of obtaining a murder warrant for Rodriguez Naranjo, who was last seen fleeing the scene in a black Mercedes passenger car.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office at 936-336-4500 or call Crime Stoppers at 800-392-STOP (7867). Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to the arrest of felony offenders while the caller remains anonymous.

  1. This is how Mestizos act- prone to violence, no self-control, and no respect for the law. These incidents aren’t isolated- it happens with them at an exponentially higher rate compared to Whites. In other words, mentally deficient, uncivilized insects.

These are the same “people” who are being integrated into your once safe community and forced into your child’s classroom. Our safety is compromised just being in the same town as these primitive pukes. This is a fantastic reason to support ICE roundups and ship every last one of them out of the country that our ancestors fought so hard to keep free, civil, and lawful. Get every one of these insects back to the shithole they belong in- and Colony Ridge would be a great place to start.

    • If we’re going to be sending people away, I propose that we volunteer you first! Nothing of value lost

      • Naw, bitch. I follow the law, and am a productive member of society. This must be a lawless mojado posting.. they don’t like the truth.. it disrespects there machismo. That’s the best rebuttal you can conjure up in your simian brain?

    • Big lol. Nah, white as the moon –just a liberal agitator. Sammy, do you think that your use of big words is enough to mask your blatant stupidity? You might want to reconsider going back to get your GED! Never too late
