Revival in the Park set for Sept. 17-21 at Liberty Municipal Park

A five-night event aimed at leading people to Christ will take place Sept. 17-21 at Liberty Municipal Park, where the basketball court has been rented out for the occasion.

Revival in the Park, held in partnership with Liberty Worship Center, is open to the public, non-denominational and free to attend. The outdoor revival will feature worship, preaching, and prayer each night and is organized by Terry Powell.

“We need to get people healed and set free,” Powell said. “The goal is to lead as many people to Christ as possible.”

Services begin at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 17–19, 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21.

Guest speakers and praise and worship leaders will vary nightly. Tommy Roberts will speak on Sept. 17, with Josh Roberts leading worship. Josh Roberts will return to lead worship on Sept. 18, when Christal Berlingeri is scheduled to speak. Berlingeri will also speak again on Sept. 20.

LaVonne Chandler of Touched by Grace will speak on Sept. 19 and 21. Worship leaders Amy and Anthony Gregory will lead on Sept. 19 and 20, while David and Felicia Clark will also lead worship on Sept. 20.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs, as no seating will be provided at the basketball court.
