Steve Glenn Elliott

Steve was born on Aug. 19, 1951, in Liberty, to parents Albert and Margie Turner Elliott, and has been a lifelong resident of Liberty.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Tina Cooper, and brother Alvin Turner. He is survived by his daughter: Niki Elliott, siblings: Delorise Elliott, Nathan Elliott and wife Geri, Rita Elliott, Vivian Hope and husband Emile, Helena Elliott, Selma Elliott, and Valerie Elliott, grandchildren: Dominique Taylor, Denzel Taylor, and Jordan McConner, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was a graduate of Liberty High School. He was a hardworking man. In his younger years he worked as a Millwright at Brown & Root and Zachary. He also spent some years working at Dragon Products. During his later years he worked at the Sam Houston Regional Library.

Steve, like his father Albert, was a quiet and shy person. However, his sense of humor brought joy and laughter to his family and friends. He enjoyed playing dominoes and fishing.

He dedicated his life to Jehovah God and symbolized it by water baptism on Sept. 23, 2000. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses he was faithful to his ministry and enjoyed sharing the Bible’s message of hope with others.

He loved his family dearly. Though he did not always express it in words, he demonstrated it in actions. If you ever needed him, he was there for you.

Steve will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Allison Funeral Service Chapel in Liberty.
