Freddie Jo Scott

Freddie Jo Scott was born in Cleveland, Texas, on Jan. 14, 1944, to parents, Fred Alex Mathews and Alice Viola Martin Mathews. She passed away June 24, 2025, in Cleveland, Texas, at the age of 81. 

Freddie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Alex and Alice Viola Mathews; 2 brothers, Charlie Mathews and Royger Farris; sister, Jane Morvant. She is survived by her beloved children, Denean Johnson and husband Johnny, Donna Gambill and husband Vernon, Derve Lee Simmons, David Simmons and wife Renee, and Joe Travis Charles Simmons and wife Christina; brothers, Richard Farris and Roger Farris; sisters, Jeanette Jones and Jean Farris; 21 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
