Troi Ellen Conklin

Troi Ellen Conklin was born in Conroe, Texas on Nov. 2, 1967, to parents, Albert Jack Penrod and Sandra Kaye Wratislew Penrod. She entered Heaven’s Gates and into the arms of Jesus on July 7, 2025, in Shepherd, Texas at the age of 57 years. Troi was a Registered Nurse for 20 years and worked in the ICU at Memorial Herman Northwest and HCA Kingwood. She loved taking her son and his friends on different adventures and see different states and sites. 

Troi was preceded in death by her father, Albert Jack Penrod. She is survived by her parents, Sandra and Charles Riffe; beloved son, Zachary Nelson and wife Doey; grandchildren, Baylee Nelson, Blythe Nelson, and Sloan Nelson; brother, Jack Penrod; stepsister, Sonja Riffe; stepbrother, Tony Riffe and Tammy Pierce. 

Visitation will be held in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. Her funeral will begin at 11 a.m. with Bro. John Page officiating. Burial will follow in the Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas.
