  1. Bro. Homer a dear man I looked up to, and loved, since I was young.
I met him at church in Anahuac in 1971, with his precious wife and children.
Violet became and remains my best friend.
Growing up, I spent alot of my Sundays and weekends at their home, with Violet and Sis.(Yvonne).
He loved to make us laugh, and was always smiling.
I was bashful growing up and he loved to make me blush.
He was such a joyful and happy soul and could lead a very good, upbeat and anointed song service in our church.
I remember that he was the same man at home as he was at church and went around singing and whistling a tune.
Bro. Homer always greeted me as Tina, from Stinkadena…(I was from Livingston…lol)
We personally kept up thru the years on facebook…He was such an inspiration and even thru social media we shared in our faith in Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I shared a special date of March 03rd with him and Sis.Virginia: my birthday and their Anniversary.
I can say Bro. Homer was a blessing to know and will be missed by many.
He closed his eyes here and awoke in the presence of His Lord.
    He finished his race.
I, like him, want to be found faithful.
I will continue to run my race…
    Will you ?
Bro. Homer, I will see you in the rapture some sweet day…
