Liberty County Community Coalition hosting event July 23 to connect families to community resources

The Liberty County Community Coalition (LCCC), in collaboration with the City of Cleveland, invites families to attend a free Community Resource Fair on Wednesday, July 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cleveland Civic Center, located at 210 Peach Ave, Cleveland, Texas.

This family-oriented event will bring together more than 20 local organizations offering a wide variety of resources, services, and information to support the well-being of Liberty County residents.

Highlights include:
• Free haircuts for children
• Free back-to-school vaccines (please bring your child’s immunization record)
• Giveaways and educational materials from participating partners
• Gift bags for the first families to arrive, filled with school-related items

Among the participating organizations are:
• Texas A&M AgriLife Extension
• Workforce Solutions – Liberty
• Health Center of Southeast Texas
• Texas Department of State Health Services
• Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare
• FamilyTime Crisis & Counseling Center
• Community Health Choice
• Liberty County Emergency Management
• Community Barber School

“This fair is about connecting families with the services they may not even know are available right here in their community,” said Maria Chiappe, Coordinator of the LCCC. “It’s a great opportunity to meet the people behind the resources, ask questions, and walk away with helpful tools and support.”

The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
