Glenda Jeanette Godejohn was born Jan. 24, 1943, in Cleveland, Texas, to parents, William McAdams and Jewel Powers McAdams. She passed away in Kingwood, Texas, on July 17, 2025, at the age of 82 years.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jewel; husband, Maurice Godejohn; son, Bill Godejohn; sisters, Nancy and Maydell. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Rolinda Godejohn and husband John Davis, Mechelle Staples and husband Bobby Staples; honorary daughter, Gina Enloe; brother, Bubba; sisters, Maudie and Gracie, Diana and husband Walter ;grandchildren, Amanda Faulkner and husband Sonny, Joseph Garcia, Loren Hardy and Krystle, Brandi Meads and husband Travis; Scott, Christy, Meaghan, Lauren, Drew and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Reagan and Rhandall, Brayden, Casen and Kyleigh, Brent, Brennen, Brodie, Rylee, Mason, Brantley, Canaan, Cullen, Colton, Macie, Luke, Kaitlyn, Devlin, Olivia, Ada; great great-grandson, Goose.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 21, 2025, in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. with Bro. David Martin and Bro. Orvin Faulkner officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brennen, Brayden, Brent, Brodie, Casen, Rhandall, Brantley and Mason.
