Felipe C. Rubio

With deep sorrow and love, we announce the passing of Felipe C. Rubio, who departed this life on July 28, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on Aug. 13, 1960, to Antonio Rubio and Concepcion Barcenas, Felipe lived a life full of passion, family, and tradition.

Felipe was a man of great spirit and heart. He had a deep love for horses and found joy in horseback riding and racing as well and hunting. Sundays were sacred to him—reserved for cherished moments with his family, where laughter and love filled the air.

He is preceded in death by his father Antonio Rubio, his brother-in-law Leopoldo Mendoza, and his nephew Concepcion Mendoza Rubio.

Felipe leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Claudia Flores Rubio, and his children: Felipe Rubio, Antonio Rubio, and Juana Rubio. His memory will also be carried on by his mother Concepcion Rubio; his sisters Maria del Carmen Mendoza, Paola Rubio, and Petra Salinas; and his brothers Jorge Rubio and J. Ciro Rubio.

Felipe was a proud grandfather to Andrea Rubio, Jonathan Rubio, Jolette Rubio, Scarlet Rubio, Aiden Rubio, Justin Rubio, Dylan Rodriguez, Melanie Rodriguez, Yared Rodriguez, and Felipe G. Rubio III.

Felipe’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His passion, warmth, and devotion to his family will never be forgotten.
