Garland Wayne Beshears

Garland Wayne Beshears was born in Cleveland, Texas on Jan. 1, 1945 to parents, E.F. Beshears and Helen Ruth Rutherford Beshears. He passed away on July 28, 2025, in Cleveland, Texas at the age of 80 years. 

Garland proudly served our country in the US Army. He worked in the water well industry, sand and gravel industry, and later retiring from the City of Houston, Public Water Works. 

Garland is preceded in death by his parents, E.F. and Helen Ruth Beshears; wife, Jo Ann Beshears; sisters, Shirley McGuire, Lynda McShan, and Regina Beshears. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Drinda Bailey and husband Joe; beloved son, Kevin Beshears and wife Carrie; sister, Dianne Jernigen; grandchildren, Seanna Bailey, Alexandria Beshears, and Elizabeth Beshears. 

A Graveside Service is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, at Morgan Cemetery at 10am with Bro. Carl Williamson officiating.
