Martha Woods, 77, of Beaumont, Texas, passed July 26, 2025.

With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Martha Woods, 77, of Beaumont, Texas, on July 26, 2025, who entered eternal rest surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 720 Porter St., Beaumont, Texas, Friday, Aug. 8, 2025. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m., rosary at 915, and funeral at 10 a.m. 

Martha was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted educator. 

Martha dedicated 26 years of her life to Beaumont Independent School District, where she served with grace, wisdom, and a heart for children. Her commitment to education, mentorship, and community upliftment left a lasting impact that will be remembered for generations.

She was the proud and loving mother of four children, the doting grandmother to 15 grandchildren, and the guiding light to a host of great-grandchildren and extended family members. Martha was the cornerstone of her family, always ready with a warm hug, wise words, and a heart full of love.

A woman of faith and strength, Martha often shared her favorite quote: “To serve is to love, and to love is to live fully.” She lived those words each day, offering kindness, encouragement, and strength to all who crossed her path.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the prayers, love, and support shown during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local education foundation in honor of Martha’s lifelong passion for learning and youth development.

Though Martha is no longer with us in the physical, her spirit lives on in every life she touched. Her legacy of love, service, and family will never be
