It is with profound sadness and love that we announce the passing of our beloved father James Ballinger. He departed this world peacefully on Sept. 12, 2025, surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering support that will forever be etched in our hearts.
My dad was more than just a parent—he was a steadfast friend, a wise mentor, and the foundation of our family. His generosity knew no bounds, and his laughter could brighten the darkest of days. He taught us the importance of hard work, integrity, and compassion for others, values that will continue to guide us throughout our lives.
A devoted husband, cherished father, and loyal friend, Dad touched the lives of many with his warmth and sincerity. He had a special way of making everyone feel seen and heard, and his presence brought comfort and joy to those around him. Whether sharing stories, cheering loudly at family events, or offering a listening ear, he was always there when it mattered most.
Beyond his role in our family, Dad was respected and admired in his community. He believed in giving back and did so quietly and selflessly, never seeking recognition for his good deeds. His passions, for gardening, fishing, hunting and mowing grass brought him happiness and were shared with those he loved.
As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the extraordinary life he lived and the countless memories we cherish. His legacy lives on in the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the family he nurtured. Though he is no longer with us in person, his spirit will remain a guiding light in our lives.
We invite friends and family to join us in honoring his memory at a celebration of his life on Sept. 22, at 12 p.m., where we will share stories and remember the incredible man he was.
