Patricia Ann Compton

Patricia Ann Compton, 78, of Beaumont, Texas, passed Sept. 10, 2025.

Services are Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church, Fannett Road, Beaumont, Texas. Visitation will begin at 9 AM until Funeral at 10 AM. Interment will be in Live Oak Cemetery Beaumont, Texas.

Patricia Ann (Margaret Ann) was born in Hayesville, La on November 01, 1946. After graduating from Bunkie’s Carver Colored High School in 1964 her and husband Stanley Leroy Compton moved to Beaumont TX; to begin their new life. After settling in after the big move to Texas, her nephew Vincent Neal Hilts (her older sisters’ child) joined the couple and was reared as their own in 1967. On May 11, 1981, Patricia gave birth to a healthy baby boy Stanley Jermaine five years later on June 25 her daughter Roshunda Monique was born. 

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings and husband of 46 years Stanley Leroy Compton.

Survived by sons: Vincent Neal Hilts of Humble, TX, Stanley Jermaine (Kirby) Compton of Beaumont TX; daughter: Roshunda Monique Compton of Beaumont, TX. Sister: Geneva Bazile of Dallas TX. Granddaughters: Shalon Hilts, Ashley Hilts, Jada Compton and destiny Compton. Sister-in-law Janet (Michael) Castle of Opelousas La; Brother-in-law: Willary Clayton of Baytown, TX.
