Hardin Helping Hands is inviting the public to join in the annual Hardin Christmas Celebration on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Hardin Elementary campus.

The beloved community tradition will include a festive parade, the annual Christmas tree lighting, and the announcement of the 2025 Citizen of the Year. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also make a special appearance to delight children and families.

Local businesses, clubs, organizations, and churches will set up booths with items for sale, giveaways, and information about their services. Guests can also enjoy free hot chocolate, cookies, children’s activities, and photo opportunities throughout the evening.

Hardin Helping Hands is currently accepting nominations for this year’s Citizen of the Year during the month of October.

Nominations may be submitted online at https://forms.gle/PjmrEQNAq3LY3ZCr7. A hard copy of the nomination form is also available.

Organizers encourage the community to participate by nominating someone deserving for Citizen of the Year and by attending the free Christmas event.
