Betty Homan McMinn

Betty Homan McMinn was born Nov. 17, 1937, to George and Cubell Homan in Pontotoc Mississippi. She passed away at her home in Cleveland, Texas, on Oct. 6, 2025, at the age 87.

Betty is preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 38 years, Jim McMinn; her parents, George and Cubell Homan; her brother, Jerry W. Homan; sons, Timonthy Bailey and Randy King; daughter, Catherine McMinn; grandsons, Aaron Bailey and Hershel King and four nephews.

She is survived by her children, Rebecca King, Clifford Bailey, Farley McMinn, and David McMinn; caregiver Dottie Griffin and beloved Sadie; grandchildren, Justin, Wyatt, Courtney, Russell, Levi and Joshua; four great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.

Betty’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland, Texas, with Dr. Ed Seay officiating. Burial will follow in Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery in Conroe, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be Chuck Cook, Thomas Valentine, Dennis Shew, James Bland, Melvin Maddox, Javier Alvarado, Russell King, Sean Gawlik, Anthony Bryant, and Jesse Homan.
