Noemí Almaguer, a woman of strength, grace, and generosity, passed away on Oct. 15, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend whose life reflected compassion, independence, and an unwavering love for her family.
Born on Jan. 1, 1964, in El Progreso, Honduras, Noemí lived her life with purpose and authenticity. She found joy in the simple things, caring for her home and plants, and especially cooking for her children and grandchildren. Her laughter and warmth filled every room, often accompanied by the sound of rancheras, corridos, gospel music, 80’s classics, and her favorite English songs, even if she only knew a few phrases that she would sing with her own unique charm.
She lived life her own way, strong, determined, and unapologetically herself. Noemí had a giving heart, always ready to help those in need, often quietly and without recognition. Her kindness and courage touched everyone who knew her, and her spirit will live on in the lives she shaped with love.
Noemí was predeceased by her mother, Jesús Guerrero; her brother, Óscar Juárez; her beautiful and beloved daughter-in-law, Daisy Hernández Blanco; and her beloved son, Richard Umaña.
She is survived by her husband, Alfredo Almaguer, with whom she shared almost 30 years of marriage; her children, Félix Eduardo Hernández and wife Helen, and daughter Kipsy Sainz and husband Yoannys, whom she admired deeply and loved as her own child; and her grandchildren, Milagro Araujo Blanco, Ashley Hernández, Yerlian Sainz, Melanni Hernández, Alaina Umaña, Kelvin Sainz, and Ellen Soad Hernández. She also leaves behind her sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
May our Lord and Savior receive her into His eternal glory, and may she rest in everlasting peace, surrounded by the love she gave so freely.
