Cecil E. Austin

Cecil E. Austin, 59, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, in Pasadena.

Cecil was born Aug. 13, 1966, in Buna, to parents, Jesse Austin and Sharon Sterling. Following high school, Cecil served in the US Army, was a former pipefitter for CBNI, and worked at a local game room. He also enjoyed barbecues, playing pool, and watching his Dallas Cowboys.

Mr. Austin was preceded in death by his father: Jesse Austin, mother: Sharon Sterling Courtney, and wife: Denise Rae Austin. He is survived by his children: Joshua Hunt, Cody Sollock, Casey Austin and companion Courtney, and Cassidy Austin, grandchildren: Emmah, Stormi, Chloe, Paisley, and Caleigha, numerous other relatives, and friends.

A celebration of Cecil’s life will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at Tooley’s Bar located at 9955 HWY 321, Dayton, Texas 77535.
