Market 535’s Christmas at the Crossroads returns to downtown Dayton on Saturday, Nov. 29, bringing more than 65 local vendors, live entertainment, and a community toy drive together to celebrate Small Business Saturday.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 111 N. Church St., behind Dayton City Hall. Admission and parking are free.
This year’s celebration is expected to be one of the most meaningful yet, featuring boutique shopping, handcrafted goods, jewelry, food, and live Christmas trees. Santa will be on-site all day for photos and holiday greetings, and pets are welcome to join in the festivities.
A highlight of this year’s market is a toy drive benefiting Bridgehaven Children’s Advocacy Center, which serves children in Liberty County who have experienced trauma.
“Supporting our community in a meaningful way has always been a passion of ours at Market 535,” said owner Sherisa Hoy. “Bridgehaven does life-changing work for children right here at home.”
A decorated donation box will be available at the event for anyone who wishes to contribute to the toy drive.
New this year, M&M Christmas Tree Farm will bring fresh, fragrant Christmas trees to downtown Dayton, giving families the chance to take home a real tree while supporting a local family business.
Live entertainment will fill the plaza throughout the day, including musical performances by Jonathan Mitchell and Raygen Mouton, and youth showcases by Dayton Dance Academy and Star Twirl Cheer & Gym.
“Our vendors work hard all year, and Small Business Saturday is the perfect time to support them and shop local,” Hoy said.
To add to the fun, the Meadow Noyer AllState will sponsor a Passport Game for the first 50 shoppers. Participants who collect vendor stamps will be entered into a drawing for a $200 H-E-B gift card.
Christmas at the Crossroads has become a cherished Dayton tradition, uniting local families, small businesses, and community spirit in celebration of the season.
The event will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 111 N. Church St. in Dayton. Admission and parking are free. For vendor or event information, contact Market 535 Events & Design.
