On Nov. 12, 2025, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT operators, deputized as Task Force Officers with the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, along with deputies from the East Command Hot Spot Unit, arrested wanted fugitive Roberto Santos Portillo.
Portillo, 45, was taken into custody near the 14600 block of Half Circle in Splendora. He was wanted on a felony warrant out of Walker County for murder.
Authorities said Portillo was arrested without incident and later transported to Walker County for booking.
