Wayne Lamar Allen

Wayne Lamar Allen was born in Livingston, Texas, on Nov. 8, 1936, to parents, Cecil Allen and Alma Lee Pogue Allen.

He passed away in Kerrville, Texas, on Nov. 21, 2025, at the age of 89. Wayne worked as a supervisor for Gulf States/Entergy for 41 years. He was a resident of New Caney and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

He and his wife Glenda loved the Hill Country and they have lived in Kerrville for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Alma Lee Allen; beloved daughter, Mitzy Anette Allen Reinhardt; sisters, Delores and Gerry. Wayne is survived by his beloved wife Glenda Ray Allen.

Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, from 10-11 a.m. Graveside Service is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., in the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Carl Williamson officiating.
