Charles Allen “Pa Charlie” Lamberth

Charles Allen “Pa Charlie” Lamberth of Batson, Texas, was released from life’s troubles on Dec. 8, 2025, at the age of 86.

Pa Charlie worked for Schlumburger and later Dana Transport before retiring and moving back to his home town of Batson. Pa dreamed nightly of work that he had done and he loved retelling the dreams to his family. He enjoyed drawing, collecting munitions and cats. Anyone looking for a semi-feral, feline friend?

Charles was born in Daisetta, Texas, on April 9, 1939, to parents C. A. and Clara Lamberth.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Judy Lamberth, siblings Edward Lee Lamberth and sisters Ruth Ann Harris and Patty Guedry.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers Johnny Lambert of Liberty and Jerry Guedry of Batson, his children La Juan Johnson and husband Rick of Gainesville, Charles A Lamberth III and wife Helen of Double Bayou, Robert Lamberth of Liberty and Sheri Marsh of Pasadena, and much loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Guedry cemetery in Batson on Dec. 11, 2025, at 11 a.m.
