MCSO SWAT team arrests wanted felony fugitive

On Jan. 14, 2026, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT operators, deputized as task force officers with the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, arrested wanted fugitive Cory Allmand.

Allmand, 33, was arrested on three felony warrants out of Montgomery County for assault family violence–impeding breath, kidnapping, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office commends the professionalism and precision of its SWAT operators in safely bringing this individual into custody.

The successful arrest also reflects a decade-long partnership with the U.S. Marshals Service, working together to ensure fugitives are brought to justice and communities remain safe.
