Ashton Carl Guillory, 34, of Anahuac, Texas, left this world and reunited with his mother on Jan. 28, 2025. Ashton was born in Houston, Texas, on Jan. 29, 1991, to Lindy and Tracy Guillory, a true miracle.
He came into this world strong and fearless. His birth was devastating to his favorite cousin, Lindsey, as she was no longer the baby of the family. They grew up together as siblings being toted along by Tracy from one store to the next. As a child Ashton loved Garth Brooks playing his air guitar and jumping off the furniture while singing “damned ol’ rodeo”. He also spent his childhood playing basketball, baseball, football, golf and track. With the help and support of his mom and dad he raised pigs and traveled the state in a show circuit winning many awards along the way. If there was a showpen in the state, he could find it!
Ashton made a career as a pipefitter always ready and willing to take on any task and get it done. On June 28, 2016 he welcomed his daughter, Alaina LeAnn Guillory, one of his proudest moments. Ashton was an avid golfer with a powerful swing, playing many rounds with his dad and Les, typically followed by a trip to the Crawfish Place for food and a cold beer.
Ashton leaves behind a loving family, his proud father Lindy Guillory of Anahuac, daughter Alaina Guillory of Anahuac, sisters Amanda Shelley (Steve) of Merritt Island, FL and Julie Davis (Chris) of Lakeland, FL, his Ganny Gale Steward of Liberty, favorite cousin Lindsey Price (Casey), aunt Brenda Chauvin (Lynn) of Goldthwaite, TX, aunt Tammy Steward of San Antonio, and uncles Tad Steward of Crosby and Troy Steward of Liberty along with nephews Houston, Hagen and Matthew and cousins Tammie, David, Tracie, Felecia, Cody, DeShaun, Casey, Kasha, Brodee, Carter and Charleston, along with extended family and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving mother Tracy Guillory, pawpaw HJ “Red” Guillory, mawmaw Jackie Guillory, pawpaw Alton Steward, and uncle Joel Guillory.
The family is very grateful for the for the outpouring of love and support and requests that donations be made for a memorial in Ashton’s honor at the Chambers County Golf Course. Donations can be sent to Sterling Funeral Home in care of the Ashton Guillory Memorial.
