
Mark Anthony Livingston, 59, of Center, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026.
Mark was born on October 6, 1966, in Lufkin, Texas, to the late James Paskel Livingston and Jutice Ann King Livingston. He was a faithful man of the Baptist faith who lived his life guided by kindness, generosity, and a deep love for his family. Mark found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially tending to his flower beds and caring for his chickens. He had a gentle spirit and was known by those who loved him as a generous, loving, and all-around wonderful man who cherished time spent with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Otis Roy and Lucille King; and his paternal grandparents, Audrey Paskel and Martha Livingston.
Mark leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Pamala Maes, Paula Moore, and James Taylor Livingston; his aunts, Mary Beth Rodriguez, Martha Cook, Mary Lou Ford, Shirley King, Mary Livingston, and Paula Livingston; his uncles, Eloy Rodriguez, Jay Cook, Jack Ford, Clinton Livingston, and Lyndon Livingston; as well as a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main St., Dayton, Texas 77535. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Anton Smikal officiating. A graveside and committal ceremony will take place at Hardin Chapel Cemetery.
Honoring the family and serving as pallbearers will be Eloy Rodriguez, Greg Rodriguez, Jay Cook, Jason Cook, Donnie Adams, Ronnie Adams, and James Kelly King. Michael Adams will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Mark’s kindness, faith, and love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
