Regina built many lifelong friendships that she treasured while working in the office. After her retirement in 2012, she began subbing for Hardin High School where she became Nan to all the students there. She loved to chat with all the previous students and their families when seeing them in town.

She enjoyed scrapbooking, paper crafts, reading, shopping, cleaning and doing laundry. Her dream job was to own a laundry service. Spending time with her family was a priority and she treasured holidays when everyone could be together. She spent the last few years babysitting her great-granddaughter, Sienna. She loved sharing the many funny stories about their adventures together. If you saw her at Walmart, she was sure to tell you one or two.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Travis Randall Reed; her mother and father and step-mother Louise Hammons; and her siblings Allen and Steven Hammons.Regina Reed, 72, of Hardin, Texas, passed away surrounded by her family on March 25, 2026, in Sour Lake, Texas.
