
Lois Bradbery, 93, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, just shy of her 94th birthday, in Baytown, Texas, with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 15, 1932, in Cove, Texas, to Wiley and Gladys Allen Arnold.
Lois grew up working alongside her brothers at the dairy farm. She enjoyed going hunting with them and developed a lifelong love for the outdoors. Lois loved taking her granddaughter and her friends to the beach, and she enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending as much time outside as she could. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
Lois was a happy, loving woman who was full of fun and had a strong, independent, and sassy spirit. She was hardworking throughout her life and will be remembered for her strength, her love for her family, and the happiness she brought to others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Cecil and George Arnold; her sisters, Evelyn Arnold, Loretha Inman, and Dorothy Hargraves; her grandson-in-law, Joshua Long; and her son-in-law, Charles Foxworth.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Darlene Bradbery and Gary Bradbery; granddaughter, Talisa Hughes; great-grandchildren, Robbie Hennis, Serena Hughes, Joshua Long II, and Ava Long; great-great-grandchild, Elaina Hennis, and one on the way, Paisley DeBlanc; her brother, Marvin Arnold; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Sterling Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton.
Food and fellowship will follow at Talisa Hughes’ residence in Dayton.
