He also leaves behind his loving mother, Rosa Trujillo; his children, Johnathan Carreño, Oscar Alvarez, Rosa Alvarez and her husband Randolph Bahena, John Alvarez and his wife Evelyn, Richard Alvarez, Jennifer Alvarez, Saul Alvarez, Sarahy Alvarez, and Lizabeth Alvarez. Aldegundo’s legacy continues through his grandchildren and numerous other loving family members. The many friends who knew him will also cherish his memory.
Aldegundo was preceded in death by his father, Juan Alvarez, whose memory he honored throughout his life.
Services to honor and remember Aldegundo’s remarkable life are scheduled to take place in Cleveland, Texas. A visitation will be held on April 12, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the family residence located at 624 CR 5003 Cleveland, Texas. The following evening, April 13, a rosary will be recited from 7:00 PM at the same location. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church – Kirbywood, 904 Kirbywood Drive, on April 14, beginning at 12:00 PM.
