The Liberty Independent School District Board of Trustees formally accepted a $115,000 contribution from the Liberty ISD Education Foundation during its meeting on Tuesday, April 21. The funding will support 34 innovative teaching and campus grants awarded across the district.
The impact of those grants is already being seen on campuses, as materials and resources began arriving in classrooms this week. The funding is helping educators bring creative ideas to life, enhance instruction, and provide new learning opportunities for Liberty ISD students.
“The partnership between Liberty ISD and the Education Foundation continues to make a meaningful difference in our classrooms,” said district leadership. “We are grateful for their ongoing commitment to supporting our teachers and students.”
The Liberty ISD Education Foundation focuses on supporting programs that go beyond traditional classroom resources, helping teachers implement new and innovative ideas.
