
The Cleveland Livestock Show rodeo parade was held Saturday, May 2, in downtown Cleveland, kicking off a week of livestock show activities at Stancil Park, 211 Peach Ave., Cleveland.
Events continue through Saturday, May 9, with livestock shows, judging contests, vendor booths, the youth auction and freezer sale.
Monday’s schedule includes the welding competition, market broiler show, rabbit check-in and rabbit shows, along with vendor move-in and stall setup. Gates will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
On Tuesday, vendors will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Market swine move-in will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with market goats and lambs weighing in from 9 to 10 a.m. The market lamb show begins at 11 a.m., followed by the market goat show. Market swine weigh-in will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., and market steers, commercial heifers and pen of heifers will check in from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Gates will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Wednesday’s events include the pen of heifer show at 8 a.m., breeding beef check-in from 10 to 10:30 a.m., the breeding beef show at 10:30 a.m. and the market swine show at 6 p.m. Vendors will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Gates will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
On Thursday, breeding swine check-in will be held from 8 to 8:30 a.m., followed by the breeding swine show at 9 a.m. Ag mechanic projects will check in from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., with judging beginning at 10 a.m. The commercial heifer show begins at 4 p.m., followed by the market steer show. Gates will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday’s schedule includes the youth auction meeting at 4 p.m., the buyer’s appreciation dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the youth auction at 6:30 p.m. Gates will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The show wraps up Saturday with freezer sale check-in at 9:30 a.m. and the freezer sale at 10 a.m. Remaining livestock and vendor booths must be removed from the grounds by 3 p.m., with facility cleanup scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Gates will open at 7 a.m.
