
Supporters packed the Anson Rigby Memorial Arena on Saturday, May 9, as buyers opened their wallets to support Dayton FFA and Dayton 4-H students during the annual Dayton FFA Livestock Sale.
While a final total for all 89 sale items has not yet been released, the grand and reserve champion entries alone brought in a combined $92,550.
- McKenna Rankin of Dayton FFA exhibited the Grand Champion Market Steer, which sold for $22,000 to American Fiber.
- Isaiah Quezada of Dayton FFA earned Reserve Champion Market Steer honors with an entry that sold for $15,000 to Thriftee Food Center.
- Alondra Lopez of Dayton FFA captured Grand Champion Commercial Heifer honors with an entry that sold for $10,100 to Smart Oilfield Services.
- Stockton Chachere of Dayton 4-H exhibited the Reserve Champion Commercial Heifer, which sold for $9,000 to Hotchkiss Disposal Service.
- Kolten Neal of Dayton 4-H earned Grand Champion Market Hog honors with an entry that sold for $6,000 to Thriftee Food Center.
