Multiple vendors at the Cleveland Livestock Show and Rodeo reported stolen property Thursday morning, May 7, after discovering items missing from their booths at Stancil Expo Park.
At approximately 9:24 a.m. May 7, 2026, officers with the Cleveland Police Department were dispatched to Stancil Expo Park, 211 Peach Ave., in reference to a theft involving multiple vendors.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the reporting parties, who stated they had vendor booths set up at the Cleveland Livestock Show and Rodeo event at Stancil Expo. When they arrived Thursday morning, they discovered several items missing from their individual booths. Each vendor was able to provide an itemized list of the stolen property.
Items reported stolen included specialty knives made by Pepe Garcia, stock knives, belt buckles, wallets, backpacks and duffle bags, jewelry boxes, a leather bowl, phone cases, purses, natural-stone necklaces, custom bracelets, leather wristbands, a Wrangler cowhide purse, dog collars, an Onn Party Radio Gen 2, a wildlife swine and duck creation, a wooden stained clock, custom flower ornaments, a cedar driftwood table piece with a wildlife background, a stained birdhouse creation, a custom cedar lamp with unique bends on an epoxy oak base, a stained wooden cross decorated with Texas stars, a custom oak driftwood piece with epoxy resin and a hanging lantern, pink bow cups, a Turtle Box speaker, cowboy boots, a blue Sportsman rolling cooler, cases of various beverages and a small red Predator power generator.
During the investigation, officers collected biological evidence at the scene. Investigators believe a suspect involved in the thefts may have been injured due to blood found at the scene.
Cleveland Police Chief Broussard said, “This is heartbreaking to think that someone would commit such a crime at an event planned to support our youth. The Cleveland Livestock Show and Rodeo, known by many of us as Dairy Day, has been a positive event in the community for around 60 years.”
Broussard added that he does not recall anything like this ever occurring at the annual event.
The investigation remains active, and the Cleveland Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is asking anyone with information about the case to contact detectives at 281-592-2622 or Crime Stoppers at 800-392-7867. All callers will remain anonymous.
