James O’Rillian “Jimmy” Taylor, Jr., born on Feb. 28, 1964, peacefully passed away on May 27, 2026, in Liberty, Texas. He was a man whose heart overflowed with love for his family, a core part of who he was throughout his life.
Jimmy’s journey on this earth was marked by the deep bonds he nurtured with those closest to him. Survived by his beloved mother, Louise Taylor, and his devoted children, son Jared Michael Taylor and daughter Amber Lynn Taylor, he leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and cherished memories. His brother, Clayton Taylor, and Clayton’s wife, Angelia, stand alongside numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who were touched by Jimmy’s warmth and kindness.
While he now rests from his labors, the memory of Jimmy is also intertwined with the past, as he joins his father, James O’Rillian Taylor, Sr., and his brother, Jerry Taylor, who have gone before him. The love and connection he shared with his family remain ever-present, a testament to the bond that spans beyond time.
A graveside service will be held on May 30, 2026, beginning at 10 a.m. at Guedry Cemetery, located at 11713 Batson Prairie Road, Batson, TX 77519 with Rev. Lamar Shane officiating. It will be a moment for all who loved him to gather, honor his memory, and find comfort in each other’s company.
Jimmy’s life was one filled with devotion to family—a man whose spirit touched many, and whose presence, though now absent, will forever be felt in the hearts of those who knew him. May his memory be a blessing and a gentle reminder of the enduring power of love.
