Boyce Ray Ivey

Boyce Ray Ivey, 81, of Dayton, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026. Boyce was born on Jan. 30, 1945, in Houston, Texas, to his loving parents, Earl and Reba Ivey. He grew up with strong values of hard work, dedication, and service—qualities that guided him throughout his life.

He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force, an experience that he held with great pride. After his time in the service, Boyce embraced the simple joys of life. He especially loved spending time outdoors, where he found peace and happiness with gardening, hunting and fishing —one of his favorite pastimes.

Boyce will be remembered as a man of quiet strength, integrity, and kindness. He cherished the moments spent with family and friends and will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Reba Ivey, his wife of 32 years Charlotte Ivey and his oldest brother Ed Ivey. He leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. A life so well lived will be lovingly remembered forever.
