Texas DPS has arrested a suspect in the fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on June 3, 2026.
On the morning of June 5, 2026, Bruce A. Pepper, 55, reported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office regarding his involvement as the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash.
Pepper, of New Caney, has been charged with collision involving death, a second-degree felony, and was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on June 5, 2026.
The victim of the crash has been identified as Dustin Lee Pierson, 31, of New Caney.
