
Jeanet Bruning Iles, 76, of Anahuac, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in Pasadena.
Jeanet was born August 12, 1949, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to parents; Joseph and Margaret Miller Bruning, a former resident of Livingston, and has resided in Anahuac for the past three years. She was a graduate of LaGrange High School, received her degree in education from McNeese State University, and was a retired teacher with 35-year tenure with schools in Louisiana and Livingston ISD.
Jeanet held membership at the St. Lukes Episcopal Church and was a founder and member of the Livingston Area Community Band. She also enjoyed crafting, writing children’s stories, quilting, and playing the clarinet. Her family will cherish the memories of her being a loving mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Iles was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Bizmark Bruning. She is survived by her husband of 55 years: Bill Iles, Daughter: Jenny Iles, brother: Joseph W. Bruning and wife Shirely, sister: Mary Wagnon McManus and husband Walter, granddaughters: Adeline and Ella Davis, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Livingston.
