Christopher Stacy Curran was born in Glenshaw, Pa., to parents, Daniel Raymond Curran Sr. and Jeanne Irvine Leitch Curran. He passed away in Pittsburgh, Pa., on July 4, 2026, at the age of 66.
Chris was the inside Sales Manager for Valbruna Stainless Company. He loved living on the coast and the beautiful sunsets there. Chris had a faith in God, and a great love for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Raymond and Jeanne Curran; brothers, Timothy K. Curran and Patrick S. Curran. Chris is survived by his wife, Mary Kathryn Curran; children, Amanda Washburn and husband Jeff, Jordan Curran, Canaan Curran and wife Brianna, and Zion Curran and girlfriend Jennifer; brothers, Daniel R. Curran Jr., William “Billy” Curran, and Craig Curran; sisters, Nanette Lorch, Diane Dauer, Cindy Graham, and Jaime Sanderson, along with their spouses; grandchildren, Jackson Washburn and wife Madyson, Hayden Washburn and fiancee Karissa, Kailua Curran, Psyrus Curran, Meadow Curran, Charlie Curran, Josiah Curran, Arabella Curran, Ember Curran, and Zion Curran; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Betancourt, Malcolm Washburn, and Redd Washburn; special friend and caretaker, Dana Winterhoff; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 10-11 a.m. Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas. Pallbearers for the service will be, Jeff Washburn, Jackson Washburn, Hayden Washburn, Canaan Curran, Jordan Curran, and Zion Curran.
