Clerance Marsh was born in Romayor, Texas, on July 11, 1943, to parents, Robert and Isabell Marsh. He passed away July 16, 2026, in Cleveland, Texas, at the age of 83 years.
Clerance was born into a large family, being one of 16 children. He worked with his hands as a machinist and he could fix any equipment that was used on the farm. Clerance will be greatly missed by his surviving sister, Clara and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Isabell Marsh; wife, Miranda Marsh; brothers, Albert Lee Marsh, Mark Marsh, Seymor Marsh, Paris Reescano, David Marsh, Daniel Marsh, Robert Marsh, Russell Marsh, and Paul Marsh; sisters, Lucinda White, Mary Brooklyn, Etha Williams, Mergie Robinson, Viola Lewis, Rachel Hamilton, and Ida Mae Price.
Clerance is survived by his beloved sister, Clara Tillman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 24, 2026, in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026, in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Dolen Community Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be, John Tillman, Nicholas Harris, Devin Vonner, Dexter Davis, Gary Davis Jr, Eric Ford, and Shawn Davis.
