Patricia Ruth “Pat” Terry

Patricia Ruth “Pat” Terry, 83, of Anahuac, passed away Tuesday, July 21, in Beaumont.

Pat was born April 2, 1943, in Oak Ridge, La., to parents John Robert and Beatrice Harrold Carlisle. She had been a resident of Anahuac for four years and was a former resident of Dayton. Pat graduated from West Monroe High School, attended technical college, and was a retired chemical buyer for Baker Hughes.

Pat enjoyed reading, watching football, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Terry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years, Wesley Edward Terry; her brothers, Robert and Ronnie Carlisle; and her son-in-law, Dale McDanell.

She is survived by her daughters, Stacy Vernon and her husband, Charles, and Kay McDanell; her stepchildren, Stephanie Williams, Richard Wesley Terry, and Gina Gasaway; her grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Mullis and her husband, Ethan, Joshua David Vernon, Lacy Michelle Vernon, and Kristy Michelle Baskin; her great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Marie Mullis, Ryleigh Nicole Mullis, Rayleigh Kay Mullis, and Cheyenne Jessie Nicole Ebert; her sisters, Barbara Horne and Betty Smich; and a host of other loving relatives.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., with funeral services at 12 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Sterling Funeral Home Chapel in Anahuac, with interment following at Anahuac Cemetery.
