James Thomas Messer (JT), 45, of Rye, Texas, passed away Aug. 2, 2026, at his residence. He was born Feb. 21, 1981, in Liberty, Texas, to James Norman and Rose Marie Messer. He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
JT is preceded in death by his grandparents Elbert Jene (EJ) and Mary Lou and brother James (Boomer).
Those left to cherish his memory are his father and mother and brother and wife Belinda (BB) and his favorite uncle (Bubba Jack) and Aunt Delores and numerous uncles, aunts, and friends.
