James Thomas Messer (JT), 45, of Rye, Texas, passed away Aug. 2, 2026, at his residence. He was born Feb. 21, 1981, in Liberty, Texas, to James Norman and Rose Marie Messer. He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
JT is preceded in death by his grandparents Elbert Jr. (EJ) and Mary Lou Messer, and brother James (Boomer) Messer.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, wife Belinda (BB), brother Edward Messer, his favorite uncle (Bubba Jack), Aunt Delores and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends.
