Henry Ferguson was born in Moss Hill, Texas, on Aug. 6, 1934. He passed away on Aug. 15, 2026 in Livingston, Texas, at the age of 92. Henry worked hard all his life and retired from Sandvic Rock Tool after 37 years of service. He also worked previously for TDCJ.
He loved being in the outdoors, especially hunting for deer, hogs, squirrels, fishing, and working in his garden. Henry was loved by many and he never met a stranger.
His greatest love in life was for his family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He especially loved spoiling his grandkids.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Cottie Carlton Ferguson and Bessie Matthews Ferguson; daughter, Glenda Kay Ferguson; granddaughter, Kaitlynn Klein; brother, Carlton Gene “Sonny” Ferguson.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Barbara Ferguson; children, Brenda Gale Little, Sharon Lynn Ferguson, Walter Lee Klein and wife Rheta, and Paul F. Klein and wife Stepahanie; grandchildren, Brandon Ferguson and Jenna, Gary Wayne Little Jr. and Brooke, Bobby Gene Little and Jennifer, Matthew Klein and Jenna, and Andrew Klein and Taylor; great-grandchildren, T.K. Little, Paxton Little, Paisley Little, Ryan Klein, and Adalynn Klein.
Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church in Romayor on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, from 11-12 p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 12 p.m. with Pastor Larry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Romayor Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be, Walter Klein, Paul Klein, Bobby Little, Andrew Klein, Matthew Klein, and T.K. Little. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Wayne Little Jr., Ryan Klein, Rickey Gilley, David Tieman, Mark Moore, Donald McCoy, Paxton Little and Ryan Klein.
