Linda Paddy Fregia, 72, of Liberty, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on Sept. 18, 1953, in Rockport, Texas, to I.R.A. and Loree Paddy.
Linda was the heart that held her family together. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love touched the lives of so many and will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, A.L. Paddy, Bobby Paddy, Jesse Paddy, Danny Ray “Pete” Paddy, Sammy Paddy, and Marvin Paddy; and her sisters, Billy Jo Barrett, Betty Walters, and Shirley DeDear.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Alford, and her partner, Arnulfo; her grandson, Shawn Alford, and his fiancée, Hannah; her granddaughter, Tiffany Alford, and Jason, who was a beloved part of the family; her granddaughter, Juana Espino; her sister, Patricia Fingleman, and her spouse, Fred; and her great-grandchildren, Taylyn, Keeley, Addison, Erika, Jordyn, Grayson, Dynvr, Cameron, and Bronx.
In accordance with Linda’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Her love, laughter, and memory will live on through the family she loved so deeply and the many lives she touched.
