Patricia ‘Ann’ Fitzhugh Morrison, 80, of Mont Belvieu, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, in Mont Belvieu.
Ann was born on Nov. 1, 1945, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to parents Hessley Herman. Fitzhugh and Viola Vonda Van Horn Fitzhugh. She was a former resident of Channelview and had resided in Mont Belvieu for the past 26 years. Ann was a graduate of El Dorado High School and worked as a teacher’s aide for Channelview ISD.
She enjoyed traveling in the family RV and doing ceramics. Ann will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and friends, and for the many memories they made together throughout her life.
Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Vonda J. Watson; and her half-siblings, Pug, Wanda, and Huvon.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gary Morrison; her sons, Scott Morrison and wife Amanda, and Ronnie Morrison and wife Brandy; her grandchildren, Colton Morrison, Parker Morrison, Brennen Morrison, Sayde Morrison and companion Eric Campbell, Garrett Wilder, and Zack Johnson; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Sterling Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, at Sterling Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton.
