Tarkington High School announces 2026 Homecoming Court

The 2026 Tarkington High School Homecoming Court will be presented Friday, Sept. 25, during the varsity homecoming football game at A.L. Nelson Stadium. The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced during halftime festivities.

Tarkington High School has announced its 2026 Homecoming Court, with students from all four grade levels selected to represent their classes during this year’s festivities.

The celebration will culminate Friday, Sept. 25, when the 2026 Homecoming King and Queen are crowned during halftime of the varsity football game again Anahuac, at A.L. Nelson Stadium in Tarkington.

Representing the freshman class are James Garcia and Mia Harvey. Sophomore representatives are Colt Mol and Kenadie Pratt, while Jace Keith and Avery Smith represent the junior class.

This year’s senior nominees for Homecoming King are Joseph Apiag, Landon Berg, Kade Hudman and Zachariah Liljequist.

Senior nominees for Homecoming Queen are Rose Barton, Keira Kulju, Kylie Landry and Bella Morgan.

The king and queen will be announced during halftime festivities Friday night, adding one of Tarkington High School’s longtime traditions to an evening of homecoming football and school spirit.
