Hazel Marie McAdams

Hazel Marie McAdams of Splendora, Texas, entered into rest on Oct. 16, 2026, at the age of 63. She was born on June 27, 1963, in Houston, Texas.

Hazel was a child of God, and her faith was an important part of her life. She had a quick wit, a strong personality, and a way of making herself known to those around her. Those who knew and loved Hazel will remember her humor, her honesty, and all the little things that made her uniquely herself. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured by those who knew her best.

Hazel found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved fishing, spending time at the beach, and had a strong love for animals. These were some of the things that brought her happiness and made life special to her.

Above all, family was at the heart of Hazel’s life. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Clint McAdams. Their love was genuine. In Hazel’s own words, it was a beautiful ride. Hazel is also survived by her son, Tyler McAdams, and daughter, Stephany Conner; her mother, Evelyn Cater; her sisters, Debbie Broussard, and Beverly Corson and her husband Clifton; her granddaughters, Carolyn Jimenez and Marolyn Conner; her brother-in-law, Shannon McAdams; and her sister-in-law, Tonya Moore and her husband JD; her father-in-law, Roy McAdams and his wife Dorotha.

Hazel will be deeply missed by her family, who will carry her memory with them in the stories they share, the moments that remind them of her, and the love that will always remain.

She is welcomed into the gates of heaven by her dad, JJ Cater, her daughter, Leslie Woodraska, and her mother-in-law, Carolyn McAdams. Their memory remained part of her life, and she now rests with those who went before her.
