City of Dayton: 7 Brew planning new Dayton location

Dayton residents will soon have another option other than Starbucks for their morning coffee or afternoon pick-me-up as the popular chain 7 Brew prepares to open a drive-thru beverage shop along US 90.

According to Chris Jarmon, director of economic development for the City of Dayton, 7 Brew has the former Jack in the Box restaurant property at the intersection of US 90 and Winfree Street under contract. Plans call for the existing building to be demolished to make way for the new business.

The company specializes in made-to-order beverages, including hot and iced coffees, teas, chai, matcha, lemonades, smoothies and shakes. Its menu also features flavored energy drinks and sparkling sodas known as “fizz” drinks. Customers can personalize their beverages with a variety of flavors and other options.

The Dayton location will use 7 Brew’s modular construction model, which allows much of the building to be manufactured off-site and then installed once the property is ready. This approach helps shorten the construction timeline.

Jarmon said the franchisee recently appeared before the Dayton Board of Adjustment to request a variance, which was approved.

Once the necessary permits are issued, Jarmon said the anticipated timeline is approximately five months before the business opens. That period includes construction, employee hiring and training.

The Dayton location will be the company’s second in Liberty County. 7 Brew opened its first local shop on Washington Avenue in Cleveland in spring 2026.

Jarmon said the city is excited to welcome another business to Dayton and looks forward to seeing the former restaurant property put back into use.
