Pamela Shafter Herrington

Pamela Shafter Herrington, 71, of Dayton passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at home. Pam was born May 29, 1947 in American Fork, Utah to parents Thomas and Gwendolyn Nelson Shafter.

The service for Pam will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pam had been a resident of Dayton since 1974 and was previously of Utah. She was owner of Pam’s Frame Shop in Liberty for 20 years. She enjoyed rug hooking and belonged to the “Stash Sisters” Guild. Pam enjoyed fishing, was very social, loved chatting with her friends and most of all she loved and adored her family.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Deann Shafter. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gary Herrington of Dayton; sons, Quinten Herrington and wife Naomi; Timothy Herrington; and Blair Herrington and wife Mandy; grandchildren, Kayla, Kacy, Todd, Sarah, Holly and Connor; brothers, Neil Shafter and Kevin Shafter; also other relatives and friends.
