Jessie Leo McCollough

Jessie Leo McCollough, 85, of Liberty, died Sunday, June 10, 2018, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born October 16, 1932, to Elton McCollough and Essie Loving in Merryville, LA and retired from oilfield work.

A gathering of Jessie’s family and friends will be Thursday, June 14, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc.

Graveside service will be Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery in Liberty with Leon Tomberlin officiating.

He is preceded in death by his parents Elton McCollough and Essie Loving; stepdad, Troy Loving; sisters, Fayrene Dick and Margarette Adams; daughter, Andle Lynn McMillen; sons-in-law, Kenneth Nugent, Jamie Dougharty, and Wayne Rawlinson; and great-grandson, Cameron Paul Carter.

Those left to cherish his memory are; wife, Andle McCollough of Liberty; sons, James McCollough and wife Renee’ of Merryville, LA, Troy McCollough and wife Susie of Merryville, LA, and Leo McCollough Jr. of Liberty; daughters, Linda Sholars and husband Randy of Dayton, Carolyn Renfro and husband Edward of Dayton, Lou Rawlinson of Liberty, Ella McCollough of Liberty, Essie Taylor and husband Robert of Daisetta, and Marilyn Doughary of Vinton, LA; sister, Mildred Simmons and husband Leroy of DeRidder, LA; son-in-law, D.A. McMillen III of Huntsville; brother-in-law, Don Young of Jasper; sisters-in-law, Ann Midcliff of Liberty and Barbara Nell Hataway of Jasper; 34 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving and caring friends.

Honoring Jessie as pallbearers are; James McCollough, Troy McCollough, Dillion Rawlinson, D.A. McMillen IV, Jacob McCollough, Justin Nugent, T.J. Taylor, and Michael Bradford. Honorary pallbearers are; Jessie Leo McCollough Jr, Robert Taylor Jr, Randy Nugent, Leigh Pruitt, Kevin Taylor, Allen McCollough, Joe Carter, Michael Jannise, Jessie Leo McCollough III, and Robert Taylor. Reception to follow service at 199 Lyle Ln. Dayton, Texas.
