Joe Edward Symmank

Joe Edward Symmank, 74, of Dayton passed away June 20, 2018 in Houston. Joe was born December 23, 1943 in Van Vleck, Texas to parents August Johnnie and Lenora Beahler Symmank.

Services for Joe will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home with interment to follow at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at Pace-Stancil. Members of the Masonic Lodge will be serving as pallbearers for Joe.

Joe grew up in Van Vleck and had been a long time resident of Dayton. He served during the Vietnam Era in the United States Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 825, really loved his lodge brothers and enjoyed all of their activities together. Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting, and dancing. Most of all he loved to be outside gardening and being with his family and grandchildren.

Mr. Symmank was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Butch Symmank, Steele Hudnall, David Hudnall, Charlie Hudnall, Perry Hudnall and Jerry Hudnall; sisters, Margie Hudnall, Flora Albreght, Lessie Hudnall and Betty Jean Watt. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Neta Kay Symmank of Dayton; daughters, Wendy Dupree and husband Bobby and Heather Walker; grandchildren, Sophia and Gracie Dupree and Cameron Walker; brothers, Jimmy Hudnall and wife Julie, George Hudnall and wife Susan and Robert Hudnall and wife Carol; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
