Jerry Andrew “Hambone” Ham Sr.

Jerry Andrew “Hambone” Ham Sr. of Dayton, Texas died Thursday June 28, 2018. He was 64.

A service of remembrance will be held on Friday July 6, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at New Life United Pentecostal Church of Liberty with Reverend Aaron DeLaughter and Reverend Clyde Snider officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

The family will be receiving friends also on Friday July 6, 2018 from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at New Life United Pentecostal Church of Liberty.

Jerry was born in Wharton, Texas August 2, 1953 to Albert Ham and Rose’etta Murchison. He had lived in Dayton 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert Ham and Rose’etta Murchison. Son Jerry Andrew Ham Jr. Sister Alice Zwahr and brother James Ham. He is survived by his wife, Betty Snider of Dayton; daughters, Angie Jones of New Waverly, Kathy Wingate and husband Danny of Dayton, sister-in-law, Kelly Champion of New Waverly. Brothers, Clyde Snider of Merryville, La and Charles Snider of Houston. Grandchildren 15, great grandchildren 23, and great- great grandchildren 6.
